La Métairie Basse is nested in the
hills surrounding Saint Pons de Thomières (Hérault - France), and takes the
full advantage of the proximity of the Natural Parc of Haut Languedoc, with its
preserved nature, architecture and history. There, the restored historic farm
has been carefully reorganised to give space to regular farming work and authentic local hospitality.
Eliane and Jean Louis simply want to share with
visitors all the beauties and treasures of the country where they live, work
hard and that they love.
This involves magnificent excursions that you can enjoy ridng or hiking, but also local gourmet products and recipes and unexpected historical marvels. Not far away from Narbonne, Carcassonne, Albi, Béziers and even Toulouse or Montpellier, you can fully enjoy, sun, forest, lakes, caves, historical towns and festivals, sea, and more, and more...

To make your sejour as comfortable as possible, Eliane and Jean Louis have arranged two charming B&B guestrooms and a gite for longer stays. They associate the quality of their friendly welcome to the simple but authentically "country flavoured" accomodation of the housing capabilities. You will taste the charm of antique furniture, handmade curtains and pretty fabrics. But modernity is present around the place (kitchenette, pool, etc...) for easy travel life.

Contact and reservationB
The very essence of bed and breakfast accommodation is that it
is located in private homes offering a limited number of guest rooms and gites. Consequently,
it is vital to place a pre-reservation as a first step in the formal reservation
process.
This may be done by first sending an e-mail to info@metairie-basse.com
or returning the herebelow form, clearly stating the beginning and ending sejour
dates and the expected number of persons.
Second - Eliane and Jean Louis will tell you by return if your reservation is possible or
not.
Third - If yes, it will become final when they receive your signed-up contract.

We apologise for this rather complicated process,
but it will work to your advantage as Metairie Basse bed and breakfasts is
located in a remote area and it could be frustrating to drive there, only to find
that the place is fully booked or closed for the night.
When making your pre-reservation by e-mail, be sure to identify yourself as a
Métairie Basse web site visitor.
- Gite sejours are weekly based, from saturday 4pm to next saturday 10am.
- Bed and Breakfast sejours are night based from D day 4pm to D+1 12am
